Welcome to the Florida Keys. Known as the Sport Fishing Capital of the World. Captain Charles has been fishing and exploring these waters his entire life. Come join him for one of many options available for a great day on the water.
Enjoy an amazing experience with your Captain doing one of the following below:
Islamorada’s name means “purple isle”, it was named by the Spanish explorers that discovered it after they witnessed the brilliant purple and blood orange sunsets.
However, the Purple Isle is known for something far more significant than beautiful sunsets. It is undisputedly the Sport Fishing Capital of the World. Just how good is it here? Any fish that swims in this hemisphere can be caught from Islamorada’s shores. It has produced more world records than anywhere else on Earth.
Islamorada was the stomping grounds of famed fishermen such as Zane Grey, Ted Williams, Jimmy Albright, Cecil Keith and countless other legends. Men who pioneered fishing techniques for both inshore and offshore fish alike who have set world records and left indelible marks on the fishing world.
Here in Islamorada you’ll find the perfect storm of fishing opportunities. The Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, Florida Bay and Everglades National Park offer angling opportunities that you just can’t get anywhere else.
In Islamorada you can fish for pelagics offshore in the morning such as marlin, swordfish, sailfish, mahi mahi, tuna and wahoo in thousands of feet of water and then in the afternoon come inshore and fish for redfish, snook, tarpon, even bonefish and permit in literally inches of water. No day is the same, your angling prospects are endless here. You can even dive for lobsters and harvest stone crabs too!
Aside from the many fishing opportunities and species, something else that makes our fishing so unique is that there is no off-season, the fishing doesn’t ever drop off. While some species come and go with seasons, we still have almost year round fishing for a variety of species such as redfish, snook, tarpon, grouper, sailfish, blackdrum, tripletail, trout, tuna, mackerel and shark.
Even the species that can be more seasonal and present certain difficulties at times like permit or bonefish can still be found and caught, you just have to know where to look.

Finally, a picture is worth a thousand words, a fish mount is worth a whole lot more! Don’t forget to ask your captain about immortalizing your trophy catch with a replica mount.
However, if fishing isn’t your cup of tea, not to worry. Islamorada is paradise to anyone who enjoys being outside in the sun and on the water. Here you’ll find world class diving and snorkeling opportunities as well as paddling kayaks and SUPs or endless opportunities to relax on our beautiful beaches.
Alligator Reef Lighthouse is world famous for gin clear waters and a variety of marine life that lives in the surrounding area. At Alligator Reef you’ll find the only living coral reef track in North America! If you’re looking to meet some of the local underwater flora and fauna up close and personal, there’s nowhere better.
Lastly, the sandbar and beach parties are incredible. The warm, crystal clear waters and white sand beaches are a perfect backdrop to enjoy a cocktail or have a cookout. It’s fun for the entire family that can be enjoyed at your own pace.
With such a wide range of sights, diversions and tastes, you’re sure to fall in love with this amazing place just like the Spanish explorers who discovered it centuries ago.
